Today we gave midterm exams. For the speaking part of the test, I like to start with one or two really easy questions that everyone usually answers correctly. This calms the students down and gives them confidence b/c they all get so nervous about the speaking part.
Well, the first question for my lower level class was, "Where do you live?" Every student answered with the name of their specific Village. Except for one gal. Bless her heart. She answered, "I love flowers."
